After our first lesson, I felt quite relieved. I was really looking forward to this subject, because I believe that even though they can be frightening and overwhelming, residencias/practice lessons are the most rewarding experiences in the course of studies. I really enjoyed the lesson, especially when we discussed our SWOT in groups. I really liked this dynamic. Moreover, I believe I profited from discussing such matters with my classmates and future colleagues. I think that exchanging these ideas is essential to our training, because we feel supported and we can learn from others’ experiences.
ResponderBorrarAfter having such a hard time during my practice lessons at secondary level, which I did in 5th year, I would like to work with young teenagers (1st, 2nd, 3rd year). All in all, I think that although we may not do the practicum this term, we can still use this time to prepare for it. I look forward to next class!

ResponderBorrarI agree with Pau one hundred percent. I'm so glad we get to start this subject, even though we cannot actually do our practice lessons, because in a way it gives me some peace of mind in that I know that we are getting to that in the near future. And as a group we can share all our anxieties, insecurities, desires and ideas so that we can start getting prepared to step into the field. Looking forward to our next meetings too!
ResponderBorrarI completely agree with what my classmates said.We are all to anxious to start our practises right away. I think the lesson was very dynamic.We had space for discussion during the whole lesson. The aims of the lesson were very clear, it was for us to remember our purpose in the classroom and to share our weakness/fears to be able to overcome them at the end of the semester. I am looking forward to the end of the practises to check if I was able to overcome those fears and improve as a teacher!

BorrarI really enjoyed our first lesson. It was very organised and I felt that we all had the chance to speak and be heard. I do believe that building a relaxed and friendly atmosphere is a must in learning with others. I am looking forward to seeing you all next Tuesday!

BorrarAs the girls said, I really enjoyed our first class too. I was really anxious about having it because I'm about to graduate and not knowing what was going to happen with this subject got me a bit mad. Now and thanks to what we talked in class, I'm being more positive and trying to keep calm becuase there will be a solution! I also liked working in pairs/groups and then sharing our personal experiences as teachers and analysing our SWOT. I think it's very enriching! I hope we can help each other and continue learning in our future lessons! See you all tomorrow! It's great fun to take this subject with you :D

BorrarI did not know what to expect from our first meeting because there is no way we get into the classroom right now, however, I really enjoyed it because it made me think about myself and my teaching practice. The SWOT activity was great and having the breakout rooms added the extra bit it was needed to make out the most of the activity. I feel confortable when we all participate and share ideas, I believe I learn a lot from my classmates' experiences and opinions; I feel that our discussions are very mature and thought-provoking.

I wanted to give you the possibility to exchange ideas in pairs and small groups so I decided to try using break out rooms and they work wonders!
